- Educational attainment (incl. the Europe 2020 headline indicator on tertiary educational attainment)
- Early leavers from education and training and NEET (young people neither in employment nor in education and training)
- Employment rates few years after graduation and skills mismatch
Section 4 gives useful links to learn about the evaluation and dissemination of the 2000 and 2009 LFS ad-hoc modules on the entry of young people into the labour market.

Section
4 – 2000 and 2009 LFS ad-hoc modules on the transition from school to work
Commission Regulations No 1925/1999 and No 207/2008 specify the list of variables to be collected in these two modules (see the statistics explained article on the EU labour force survey – main features and legal basis).
More information on the implementation of these Regulations and evaluation of results is available
- for the 2000 module from the statistics explained article on LFS ad-hoc modules
- for the 2009 module from a dedicated webpage
Three main publications present the results from the 2000 module on "youth transitions from education to working life in Europe":
Part 1 – General indicators on transition from school to work
Part 2 – School leavers in Europe and the labour market effects of job mismatches
Part 3 – Young people’s social origin, educational attainment and labour market outcomes in Europe
The 2009 module data are published on Eurostat's online database
(tables edat_lfso_09t1 to edat_lfso_09t3) and in the form of a statistics
explained article.
