The implementation of the new regulatory Package involves the management of the new notification procedure provided for in Article 32 of the Directive for electronic communication services. Under the terms of this article, national regulation authorities are required to notify the Commission when they seek to define a new market and for each designation of an operator who occupies a dominant position.
