For each reporting period, information is prepared and sent to the BOP compiler. Let's look at the process...

  • At the reporting institution, data are input to the computer.
  • The report is printed.
  • This information is then sent to the BOP compiler.
  • Once received, the data are re-input into the compiler's computer and then printed for checking purposes and for regular BOP report
Imagine going through the same procedure for a number of different reports.
To do the job ... it wastes time, paper, and affects quality.
