How should I use EDI
to collect and disseminate maritime statistics?
The following diagram shows how maritime statistics may be automatically
extracted using EDI. Note that EDIMARS has shown that information may also
be directly extracted from various information systems in port authorities
or transport operators that do not use EDI yet in France and Ireland as
well as from port community systems in France and the UK.
