EDIMARS Interactive Demo
Alcatel Telecom Software & Services' consultants responsibility
encompasses the following :
- write and issue the technical documentation related to the EDIFACT
messages CUSCAR, IFCSUM and GESMES, in liaison with EEG6/WG7 « Transport
Statistics »;
- write and issue awareness material: brochures, booklets, presentation,
electronic guides, web sites;
- facilitate the exchange of information between all administrations
and companies, related to the use of EDI for the implementation of the
European Council Directive on maritime statistics, via :
- the News Groups (see News Groups)
- the Partners Meetings (see Meetings)
- test of EDIFACT messages
- presentation of the project through visits and EEG6 meetings
- coordinate the trials;
- report on the trials.
It is your responsibility, as EDIMARS participant, to :
- give comments on the technical and/or awareness documentation whenever
you find an error or an ambiguous text;
- exchange problems and solutions with the other EDIMARS participants.
