Visualization of relative age group sizes |
This interactive element visualizes for two sets of European countries (EU member states or, alternatively, EU candidate and EFTA states) the relative size of four age groups, i. e. the percentage of these age groups with respect to the total population. The visualization is carried out by means of bar charts. |
A bar chart is a graphical tool of descriptive Statistics which represents each element xi of a given data set by means of a bar of length xi (i = 1, 2, .. ,n). |
