Visualization of population key figures |
This interactive element visualizes for two sets of European countries (EU member states or, alternatively, EU candidate and EFTA states) the absolute size of population as well as the size of three population change rates (live births, deaths and net migration rate per 1000 inhabitants). The visualization is carried out by means of bar charts. |
A bar chart is a graphical tool of descriptive Statistics which represents each element xi of a given data set by means of a bar of length xi (i = 1, 2, .. ,n). |
